Professional Experience Includes:

Provost/ALO, Ameritech College of Healthcare now Joyce University. Responsible for leading the college to initial accreditation with NWCCU. Successfully transferred over 1,000 nursing students and faculty to virtual classroom instruction. Conducted in-depth program reviews to improve student experience and retention.

 

  • President/Vice President of Academics, Argosy University. Worked directly with the COO to solve various campus operations issues:

  • Interim President, Hawaii. Consolidated Guam, Samoa, and Hawaii online operations through blended learning. Hired and trained new Campus President.

  •  Interim President, Los Angeles, California. Hired and trained new Campus President and prepared campus for an accreditation review.

  • Vice President of Academics, San Francisco, California. Successfully prepared campus for a WASP accreditation review.

  • Campus President, Salt Lake City, Utah. Closed campus with minimal disruption by forming articulation agreement with other institutions

  • Provost/VP of Operations, Daymar Colleges Group. Responsible for new program development, enrollment management, retention, placement, and compliance. Direct reports include campus presidents, marketing, academics, and placement personnel.

  • Associate Provost, Program Development/National Director of the Business College, Western Governors University. Responsible for developing new competency-based programs for all colleges. Direct reports included program development managers, instructional designers, editors, and quality control personnel. Responsible for selecting dynamic and engaging learning resources. Managed a $29 million budget.

  • Executive Vice-President of Academic Affairs/ Provost, Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Duties included University governance, new program development, committee leadership, faculty, and teaching activities to ensure academic excellence. As Provost, successfully led RMUoHP to obtain regional accreditation.

  • Colorado State Vice President, University of Phoenix Campuses (7 locations).  Achieved budgeted profitability, governmental compliance, and improved campus operations to be fast, friendly, convenient, and accurate. Key team leader in the development of FlexNet, a blended instruction model.

  • Vice President, Office of National Accounts, Apollo Group: University of Phoenix, College for Financial Planning, IPD, and Western International University. Worked with Boeing, American Express, UPS, Delta Airlines, Motorola, EDS, and other large accounts to improve Apollo’s revenue, service, and profitability.

  • President, DOD Electronics (Harman International- President): Responsible for budgeting, profit, new product development, operations, national and international marketing.

  • Vice President Operations, Harman Music Group (Harman International): Introduced innovative techniques to improve production, quality, and materials functions for this 600-employee company.

  • General Manager, JBL Speaker Company (Harman International): Leader for all functional departments. Large plant (1000 employees). Implemented JIT and Kaizen processes to improve delivery time and lower total inventory investment.
